Golovkin-Canelo II to stream in theaters

The original fight was in theaters as well

Those of you not willing to shell out for an overpriced pay-per-view will instead have the option of shelling out for an overpriced movie ticket, as the September 15th rematch between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez will stream on “more than 450” movie screens.

You can find your nearest locations here. It looks like they’ll run you about $20, which is a fair sight less than watching it at home. Plus, more and more theaters are offering booze nowadays, so you’re getting more for your money.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the first episode of “24/7” and, if you’re so inclined, continue to argue with people in the comments sections. If none of the streaming options wind up working for you, be sure to at least check in on the thread for up-to-the-minute goom updates.

Also, while you’re on that Fathom Events page, don’t miss the screenings of Perfect Blue. Satoshi Kon was a genius.
