I’m boxing in a 8 rounder September 30th in L.A on the #OrtizvsMolina bill... when I get through that iv got something nice and juicy for you in December

Eubank Jr. (26-2, 20 KO), fighting for the first time since falling to Groves in February, will face unheralded JJ McDonagh (16-4, 8 KO) on the 28th and will serve as an alternate should either Smith or Groves withdraw. DeGale (24-2-1, 14 KO) does not officially have an opponent yet, though I imagine whoever they find will be of similar or lesser quality to McDonagh. BoxRec names Fidel Monterrosa Munoz, a former welterweight who has 15 knockout losses and got stopped in five straight fights before beating a guy who was 22-33-1 last month.
Even by British squash match standards, that would be bad.
“Chunky” dropped his IBF title earlier this year ahead of a purse bid with Jose Uzcategui, claiming he wanted to have “massive fights” in the “final phase” of his career. There were rumblings that he’d face Rocky Fielding, but DeGale shot that notion down. Billy Joe Saunders has also been brought up as a potential opponent.
