As expected, Victor Ortiz has been pulled from his upcoming PBC main event opposite John Molina Jr. following his surrender to the Oxnard Police Department over three felony sexual assault charges. Molina Jr. will be rebooked against someone else on a later date, leaving the featherweight matchup between Brandon Figueroa and Oscar Escandon to serve as the main event this Sunday on Fox Sports 1.

Other highlights on the card include Olympians Joe Joyce and Efi Ajagba, plus unbeaten super welterweight Joey Spencer.

Figueroa (16-0, 11 KO), brother of Omar, is a PBC mainstay and promising 21-year-old who’s thus far spent his career at or around super bantamweight. Size shouldn’t be an issue at 126, as he stands 5’8” and should tower over a decent chunk of the division. Said chunk includes the 5’1.5” Escandon (25-4, 17 KO), who’s coming off of stoppage losses to Tugstsogt Nyambayar and Gary Russell Jr.
