Today at Noon ET streaming on DAZN, the card for the World Boxing Super Series super middleweight tournament final begins, and we’ll be here with live coverage for the main event.
George Groves (28-3, 20 KO) will be defending his WBA title against Callum Smith (24-0, 17 KO) in that fight, with both coming in riding hot streaks.
Smith, of course, has never been defeated as a pro, and has gotten to this fight thanks to wins over Erik Skoglund and Nieky Holzken. Groves has won seven straight overall, and has beaten Jamie Cox and Chris Eubank Jr in the tournament to reach this final bout.
The winner will be seen as the No. 1 man in the division, with only perhaps Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez having much of an argument otherwise. But the winner of this fight will also have the RING title, a lot to add to the argument, at least for some.
