Keith Thurman and Josesito Lopez are good to go for tomorrow night’s PBC on FOX main event from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, as the welterweights made weight this afternoon.
Thurman (28-0, 22 KO) is fighting for the first time in just shy of two years, returning from some injury setbacks that have kept him out of the ring since his March 2017 win over Danny Garcia, where he unified the WBA and WBC welterweight titles.
Thurman still has the WBA belt, and he’ll defend it tomorrow night against the battle-hardened Lopez (36-7, 19 KO).
Thurman weighed in at 146.6 pounds for the fight, and Lopez at 146.5, both below the 147-pound limit.
The co-feature will be a heavyweight clash between Adam Kownacki (18-0, 14 KO) and Gerald Washington (19-2-1, 12 KO). Kownacki weighed in at 258.5, with Washington at 243.25.
There’s also a WBC featherweight eliminator on the card, with Tugstsogt Nyambayar (10-0, 9 KO) facing Claudio Marrero (23-2, 17 KO). Nyambayar and Marrero both weighed in at 125.5.
