Today at 2 pm ET streaming live on DAZN in the US and airing on Sky Sports in the UK (7 pm local time), Matchroom has a card headlined by a very nice doubleheader from Newcastle, England, with Robbie Davies Jr facing Lewis Ritson in the 140-pound main event, and Ted Cheeseman defending the 154-pound British title against Scott Fitzgerald in the co-feature.

The card will also feature heavyweight prospect Martin Bakole, light heavyweights Lawrence Osueke and Ricky Summers, and super middleweight Savannah Marshall, a recent Matchroom signing.

Both of the two feature fights are right about 50-50 on paper, good matchups that could also produce very good fights. Davies-Ritson could produce a world title challenger, while Cheeseman-Fitzgerald is a legit “cream of the crop” fight for 154 at the domestic level in the UK.
