With Regis Prograis seemingly primed for his big unification fight this weekend with Josh Taylor, Prograis tells WBN that he’s feeling confident about his chances in the fight because he believes he’s the more complete fighter of the two.

This is a notion both fighters have been clinging to during their build-up, and we won’t know who’s really right until they square off, but that doesn’t stop Prograis from pointing out Taylor’s deficiencies.

“I’ve seen weaknesses in him. The main thing is he doesn’t have is a real solid defense and stuff like that – that’s the main thing.

“It’s not about tactics and stuff like that, it’s about who can get hit with the big punch. But even with that said, I never go into a fight thinking that he’s going to be the same as he was from his previous fight. I don’t think like that.”

Prograis continued by saying he’s expecting Taylor to come into the fight in his best form to date, but thinks the overwhelming pressure will wear on Taylor who will have a lot of hometown support, with the fight taking place in the U.K.
