Matchroom. who promotes Butaev (12-0, 9 KO), won the purse bid for the Besputin (13-0, 9 KO) fight late last month. As we’ve said, it’s a great fight between highly talented undefeated fighters, even if the “title” involved has a gigantic asterisk attached to it.
Braekhus (35-0, 9 KO) has been the undisputed welterweight queen for nearly a decade, while Bustos (19-5, 0 KO) has historically done her best work at 135 pounds. After losing her IBF belt to Katie Taylor two fights back, though, she successfully moved up to 140 with a decision over Enis Pacheco last December.
Zhang (20-0, 16 KO) vs. Kuzmin (15-1, 11 KO) is still a good fight between a well-credentialed but totally untested Olympian and a capable heavyweight looking to bounce back from his first career defeat. TBA still has the Fury (23-3. 13 KO) assignment.
Cordina (10-0, 7 KO), who recently defended his British lightweight title with a decision over Gavin Gwynne, faces Enrique Tinoco (18-5-4, 13 KO), who recently smashed the heavily favored Jordan Gill.
