It’s repeat or revenge this Saturday for former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Joshua, 30, is coming off a disastrous U.S. debut over the summer where he was expected to officially announce his arrival. Instead Andy Ruiz Jr. beat him up in front of a Madison Square Garden crowd that left Joshua to do some real soul searching.
Well, Joshua has done that and decided he wants to come back for more, and he’ll get his chance — this time will a full training camp specifically designed for Ruiz. There will be no excuses to be had this time around (presumably), so Joshua will just need to get in the ring and handle his business.
And with Joshua getting ready to display his new form, he attends an open media workout in Saudi Arabia where the two heavyweights will meet for a second time. Joshua has fielded a lot of questions about his slimmer build this time around, but he’s largely laughed off those questions but saying he’s just been training hard and not worrying so much about his physique.
