Friday, Feb. 15

ESPN+, 6:00 pm ET, Brant-Baysangurov undercard.

ESPN, 9:00 pm ET, Rob Brant vs Khasan Baysangurov. Brant is defending his WBA “world” middleweight title for the first time, following his upset of Ryota Murata last Ocober, and it’s a homecoming bout in Minnesota. Baysangurov is unbeaten but also untested, and this will be his U.S. debut. BLH will have live coverage.

SHO, 10:00 pm ET, Shohjahon Ergashev vs Mykal Fox, Jesse Hernandez vs Thomas Ward. A ShoBox doubleheader from Kansas. Ergashev is thought to be a serious prospect at 140. BLH will have live coverage.

Saturday, Feb. 16

FOX, 8:00 pm ET, Leo Santa Cruz vs Rafael Rivera, Omar Figueroa Jr vs John Molina Jr. Santa Cruz was supposed to face Miguel Flores, which wasn’t exciting, but Flores is out, so Rivera, also not exciting, is in. Rivera has dropped two of three, losing to Joseph Diaz Jr and Joet Gonzalez, but now he’s got a world title fight. Boxing, baby! Figueroa-Molina should be a firefight. Figueroa has only fought once since 2015 and hasn’t fought since the summer of 2017, but he always brings action, and Molina, who hasn’t fought since a Dec. 2017 shootout win over Ivan Redkach, is always up to get in a scrap. BLH will have live coverage.
