Tonight at 8 pm ET, PBC on FOX is back with a tripleheader from Los Angeles, featuring WBA featherweight titleholder Leo Santa Cruz defending against Rafael Rivera in the main event.
Santa Cruz (35-1-1, 19 KO) is an enormous favorite in this fight, as he’s a proven top featherweight and Rivera (26-2-2, 17 KO) is seen as an also-ran in the division. Rivera is coming in on short notice, replacing original opponent Miguel Flores about a month ago. Rivera has lost two of his last three, dropping decisions to Joseph Diaz Jr and Joet Gonzalez.
The welterweight co-feature may be the real can’t-miss fight of the night, as it pits all-action battlers Omar Figueroa Jr (27-0-1, 19 KO) and John Molina Jr (30-7, 24 KO) in a matchup that has war potential. Neither Figueroa nor Molina have fought since 2017.
The opener is a junior middleweight fight between prospect Sebastian Fundora (11-0, 7 KO) and Donnie Marshall (10-0, 6 KO). Marshall is a 30-year-old fighter from North Carolina and here to be the opponent, but Fundora is a really intriguing young fighter. The 21-year-old southpaw stands 6’6” at 154 pounds, meaning he could be a nightmare matchup for just about anyone if he pans out as a fighter.
