Jarrell Miller shoves Anthony Joshua at press conference

Miller needs his three feet of personal space...

Things kicked off pretty quickly at today’s press conference, formally announcing Anthony Joshua’s June 1st title defense against Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ MIller.

As the two heavyweights were announced to the stage, Joshua walked right up on Miller for a customary face off. Joshua must’ve gotten a little too close for comfort, though, as ‘Baby’ let it be known that it was on sight, shoving Joshua back several feet.

Joshua, for his part, maintained his composure and professionalism — at least for a moment — calming walking right back up to Miller with his hands behind his back so they could finish the photo op.

Of course Miller wasn’t done at that point, continuing to bark at Joshua with security standing between them. But then when someone off stage started talking, Joshua turned his attention to him, hopping off the stage to confront him. Thankfully things didn’t escalate from there , but there’s still plenty of time for things to fly off the rails before fight night. We’ll see how their next face-to-face encounter goes.
