Middleweight titleholders Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs will begin a three-city promotional tour on Feb. 27 to hype up their big May 4 showdown, which will stream live on DAZN.

Alvarez (51-1-2, 35 KO) will defend his WBC and WBA titles against the IBF belt held by Jacobs (35-2, 29 KO) in what is sure to be one of the biggest and most highly-anticipated fights of 2019. The fight is set for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The promotional tour starts Feb. 27 in New York, before heading to Mexico on March 1, and ending in Los Angeles on March 4. Events will be open to the public, according to Golden Boy, with details about that still to come.

Other than the main event, not much is yet known about the May 4 card, but that should change in the coming weeks. We do know that Vergil Ortiz Jr, a top 140-pound prospect with a 12-0 (12 KO) record, will be part of the undercard.
