Pay-per-view isn’t quite dead in the boxing world, even with the rise of streaming platforms and the fall of HBO’s involvement in the sport, and on March 16, FOX is putting together its first boxing pay-per-view under the Premier Boxing Champions banner, with Errol Spence Jr facing Mikey Garcia in the main event from AT&T Stadium in Texas.
And the network plans to go all-out in promoting the fight, too, with a slate of programming dedicated to hyping the bout starting this Sunday, March 3, with second installment of PBC Fight Camp dedicated to the bout.
That episode will air on Sunday at 1:30 pm ET, immediately followed by PBC Countdown at 2:00 pm ET. Countdown will be a one-hour special where “both boxers take a look back at some of the biggest fights they’ve had that led them to this pivotal battle.”
The third episode of Fight Camp will air on Sunday, March 10 at 1:30 pm ET.
The pay-per-view show will air on Saturday, March 16 at 9:00 pm ET, with pre-show coverage on FS1.
