Lomachenko-Crolla: Vasyl Lomachenko’s Media Workout

Loma puts in some light work for the cameras.

As unified lightweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko (12-1, 9 KOs) gets ready to put his belts on the line against Anthony Crolla (34-6-3, 13 KOs) on April 12, the champion holds an open media workout to provide a glimpse of his current form.

Lomachenko, 31, comes into this fight off a unanimous decision win over Jose Pedraza last December where he unified the WBA and WBO titles. Lomachenko decisively won that fight but it had to go to the cards which ended his 8-fight stoppage streak.

His opponent, Crolla, 32, has won three straight decisions since losing back-to-back fights against Jorge Linares between 2016 and 2017. Crolla obviously isn’t much of a puncher — as his record indicates — and he’s surely not the craftsman that Lomachenko is. When taken together that probably means he’ll be up against it in this outing, but he does at least have the opportunity to take home a couple world titles if he can come through.

In the meanwhile watch Lomachenko go through his paces leading into his lightweight title defense...
