Today at 3 pm ET airing on FS1 and streaming right here in the video up top, Errol Spence Jr and Mikey Garcia, along with the rest of the fighters for Saturday’s FOX pay-per-view card, will hit the scales to weigh in for the event.
Spence (24-0, 21 KO) is defending his IBF welterweight title against Garcia (39-0, 30 KO), who has won titles at 126, 130, 135, and 140. Some see this as Garcia likely taking a step too far in his ambitious climb of the weight class ladder, but others believe this will be a terrific matchup of two of the best fighters in the sport today. They fight the fights for a reason, and we’ll find out what it is on Saturday.
The pay-per-view undercard will feature three bouts. Super middleweight David Benavidez (20-0, 17 KO) looks to get his career back on track against veteran J’Leon Love (24-2-1, 13 KO); bantamweight standout Luis Nery (28-0, 22 KO) takes on McJoe Arroyo (18-2, 8 KO); and heavyweight Chris Arreola (37-5-1, 32 KO) will look to continue his comeback against Jean Pierre Augustin (17-0-1, 12 KO). All three fights are set for 10 rounds.
There will also be a prelim fight airing on FS1 before the pay-per-view, featuring former heavyweight titleholder Charles Martin (25-2-1, 23 KO) against local fighter Gregory Corbin (15-0, 9 KO). That fight is also scheduled for 10 rounds.
