Tomorrow afternoon’s Top Rank card from Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden is fully set, as the fighters made weight today in New York.
The fights stream tomorrow on ESPN+, starting at 3 pm ET for the prelims, with the main card set to begin at 6 pm ET. BLH will have live coverage.
Michael Conlan (10-0, 6 KO) will face Ruben Garcia Hernandez (24-3-2, 10 KO) in a featherweight fight that Top Rank is billing as “Sunday’s special attraction (with) St. Patrick’s Day star Michael Conlan.” Conlan weighed in at 125.8, with Hernandez at 124.6, both below the 126-pound limit.
Top Rank is calling the welterweight fight between Luis Collazo (38-7, 20 KO) and Samuel Vargas (30-4-2, 14 KO) the “main event” of the show, even though they weighed in before Conlan did and the show has been entirely marketed around Conlan’s fight. Anyway, Collazo weighed in at 146, with Vargas at 146.2, so they’re good to go, too.
Conlan-Hernandez and Collazo-Vargas are both set for 10 rounds.
The rest of the weights:
- Paddy Barnes (118.8) vs Oscar Mojica (118), 6 rounds
- Josue Vargas (141.2) vs Adriano Ramirez (141), 8 rounds
- John Bauza (138.2) vs Ricardo Maldonado (139.6), 6 rounds
- Vladimir Nikitin (125.8) vs Juan Tapia (125), 6 rounds
- Joseph Adorno (133.8) vs Victor Rosas (132.8), 6 rounds
- Lee Reeves (140.6) vs Edward Torres (141.4), 4 rounds
