Regis Prograis works on applying effective aggression leading into bout with Kiryl Relikh

Prograis fine-tunes different aspects of his game during training camp.

Regis Prograis is currently scheduled to face Kiryl Relikh on April 27th in a World Boxing Super Series semifinals match. And leading into that fight Prograis allowed cameras to watch him do his thing in camp.

Typical media days for fighters simply showcase some light shadowboxing or mitt routines, but here we’ve got Prograis working on some other parts of the game which is pretty cool to see, especially if you’re into some of the more technical aspects of the sport. In this video you can watch Prograis work on applying effective aggression and cutting the ring off ring while remaining defensively responsible.

Prograis considers himself a well-rounded fighter so being able to adapt his style in the ring is an important skill — particularly for those with lofty expectations for their careers. Check out the junior welterweight work on his footwork, head movement, defense, and punch selection as he goes through this training drill.
