Danny Garcia’s April 20th battle with Adrian Granados on Fox has a location and supporting cast. The event will take place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA and include Andy Ruiz Jr. vs. Alexander Dimitrenko and Brandon Figueroa vs. Yonfrez Parejo.

Ruiz Jr, (31-1, 20 KO) missed all of 2017 but went 2-0 last year, KOing Devin Vargas in 98 seconds and winning a decision over aging sandbag Kevin Johnson. Dimitrenko (41-4, 26 KO) is at least a minor step in the right direction, having stopped unbeaten Adrian Granat three fights back and dropped Bryant Jennings in defeat last August.

The visuals should be fun, at least, as Dimitrenko will have five inches of height and eight inches of reach on “The Destroyer.”

Texas’ Figueroa (18-0, 13 KO) is coming off a pair of knockouts of veterans Oscar Escandon and Moises Flores, while Parejo defeated the hapless 8-27-1 Benjamin Mendoza last month to rebound from a loss to Ryan Burnett. Though WBA regular super bantamweight champ Danny Roman is set to face IBF champ TJ Doheny on April 26th, with the winner facing WBA #1 Murodjon Akhmadaliev immediately afterwards, the sanctioning body are calling this an interim title fight. Figueroa is #2 and Parejo (22-3-1, 11 KO) is #5, so it’s not egregious from a rankings perspective, but it’s still unnecessary.

This will be Parejo’s fourth attempt at a WBA world title, having fallen short against Hugo Ruiz, Zhanat Zhakiyanov, and the aforementioned Burnett.
