According to the British Boxing Board of Control, heavyweights Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois have come to terms for their ordered bout. The vacant title fight will be promoted by Frank Warren and will take place on a date and at a venue to be announced.

BoxNation’s Steve Lillis says that the current rumor is July 13th at the O2 in London.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this. I’d assumed that the 33-year-old Joyce (8-0, 8 KO) would take advantage of the WBA mandatory status he “earned” by smashing Bermane Stiverne in February. Instead of the aging, vulnerable Mahmoud Charr, though, he’s elected to face a lethal young puncher in Dubois (10-0, 9 KO), whose only trip past the fifth round came against the infamously durable Kevin Johnson.

This could wind up being a terrific fight, and I respect the hell out of both men for making it happen. Nicely done, lads.
