Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Juan Francisco Estrada are good to go for tomorrow night’s highly-anticipated rematch on DAZN, as the super flyweights made weight today in Los Angeles.
The rest of the weigh-ins also went fine, and the full 10-fight card is good to go.
WBC super flyweight titleholder Srisaket (47-4-1, 41 KO) beat Estrada (38-3, 26 KO) by decision in a terrific fight at the Forum in Inglewood in Feb. 2018, and they’ll do it again at the same venue tomorrow night.
Srisaket weighed in at 114.2 and Estrada at 114.6, both below the 115-pound limit.
The co-feature bout is a super bantamweight title unification fight between Daniel Roman (26-2-1, 10 KO) and TJ Doheny (21-0, 15 KO), holders of the WBA and IBF belts, respectively. They were also good on the scales, with Roman coming in at 121.2 and Doheny 121.8, below the limit of 122.
Jessie Vargas (28-2-2, 10 KO) is moving up in weight and fighting with Freddie Roach in his corner for the first time. He’ll face Humberto Soto (69-9-2, 37 KO) in a 151-pound catchweight bout, with Vargas intending to go up to a full 154 in time. Vargas and Soto both tipped the scales at 150.4.
The undercard will feature several prospects in action, including super middleweight Anthony Sims Jr (18-0, 17 KO), junior welterweight Shakhram Giyasov (7-0, 6 KO), super bantamweight Alberto Melian (4-0, 3 KO), and super bantamweight Murodjon Akhmadaliev (5-0, 4 KO), who will be mandatory for the Roman-Doheny winner.
