It’s fight week, folks! And with the days now dwindling down before Canelo Alvarez’s middleweight title unification with Daniel Jacobs this Saturday night on DAZN, our friends at Fight Hub TV we able to get a little behind-the-scenes footage of Canelo as his training camp winds down.

In the video above, you can get an early glimpse of Canelo doing some light shadowboxing while working on his defensive head movement leading into into the bout. Canelo has steadily improved his defensive prowess over the years, and will likely need to utilize his developed skills in order to overcome a taller, longer opponent in Jacobs.

Canelo obviously got a recent look at fighting bigger opponents when he faced Rocky Fielding in a super middleweight contest last December — a fight Canelo won easily by third round knockout — but Jacobs should prove to be a much stiffer challenge than Fielding since he’s just a higher quality opponent.
