Tonight at 10:30 pm ET on Showtime, ShoBox: The New Generation is back with a Thompson Boxing tripleheader from Corona, California, led by featherweight prospect Ruben Villa in the main event.

Villa made his ShoBox debut in January, beating Ruben Cervera, and now he’s main eventing the long-running prospect series, taking on Mexico’s Luis Alberto Lopez in a 10-round fight. Villa is a two-time National Golden Gloves champion and is considered a strong prospect at 126 pounds.

The show will also feature Texas lightweight prospect Michael Dutchover in an eight-round, 138-pound catchweight fight against late replacement opponent Rosekie Cristobal of the Philippines, plus a 10-round bantamweight opener between California’s Saul Sanchez and Mexico’s Brandon Benitez.

There will also be a couple of live fights streaming at and on Facebook and YouTube after the Showtime card ends. One of them will feature George Acosta (7-0, 1 KO) against Ruben Torres (8-0, 7 KO) in a six-rounder at lightweight.
