WEIGH-IN RESULTS
- Jarrett Hurd 153¾ vs Julian Williams 153¾
- Mario Barrios 143 vs Juan Jose Velasco 143
- Matt Korobov 160¾ vs Immanuwel Aleem 159½
Today at 12:30 pm ET, WBA/IBF junior middleweight titleholder Jarrett Hurd and challenger Julian Williams hit the scales in Fairfax, Virginia, getting set for tomorrow night’s FOX main event.
Hurd-Williams will air live on FOX at 8:00 pm ET on Saturday night, and Bad Left Hook will be here with live coverage of the show.
Hurd (23-0, 16 KO) is getting something of a hometown fight with this one, as he’s just about a half hour or so up the road from his hometown of Accokeek, Maryland. Williams (26-1-1, 16 KO) is coming down from Philadelphia for his second crack at a world title.
Hurd is known for his size and bullying style at 154, and there has been a lot of talk of him moving to 160, either because he wants to or because he’s coming due to grow out of this division. So today’s weigh-in could be an interesting one.
If you’re not in front of a TV at 12:30, you can stream live with the FOX Sports GO app.
The show will also feature 140-pound prospect Mario Barrios (23-0, 15 KO) against Juan Jose Velasco (20-1, 12 KO) in a 10-round fight, and middleweights Matt Korobov (28-2, 14 KO) and Immanuwel Aleem (18-1-1, 11 KO) in a 10-round opener.
