Both men made weight, but one a bit easier than the other.

Tomorrow night’s PBC main event on FOX is set, but there was at least some minor drama on the scales today in Fairfax, Virginia.

Jarrett Hurd (23-0, 16 KO) was confident and comfortable on the scales for his WBA/IBF title defense, weighing in at 153¾ for the fight. Challenger Julian Williams (26-1-1, 16 KO) was a bit more tense, a little more aggravated, and initially missed weight, coming in at 154¼. He then took off his half-pound underpants and weighed in at 153¾, so the fight is set.

“Prepare for tomorrow night, we’re gonna bring these titles back to Philadelphia,” Williams said. “I’m unlike any other fighter he’s ever fought before. We’re gonna find out tomorrow night.”

“I promise you tomorrow night we’ll put on a show. It’s my homecoming, baby, let’s get it,” Hurd said. “I always like to challenge myself and see what I can do with top-notch competition, and Julian Williams is a great fighter so I know it’s gonna be another classic when we get in there.”

In the co-feature, Mario Barrios (23-0, 15 KO) and Juan Jose Velasco (20-1, 12 KO) both weighed in at 143 pounds. The opener is a middleweight bout, with Matt Korobov (28-2, 14 KO) coming in at 160¾ and Immanuwel Aleem (18-1-1, 11 KO) at 159½.
