Super featherweight contender Mikaela Mayer will be part of Top Rank’s June 15 show in Las Vegas, headlined by the extremely highly-anticipated showdown between lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and excellent undefeated contender Tom Schwarz.

Mayer (10-0, 4 KO) is a 28-year-old fighter who was a standout amateur. She won the National Golden Gloves in 2011 at 132 pounds, and won bronze at the 2012 world championships in Qinhuangdao at 141 pounds.
She also fought at the 2016 Olympics in Rio at lightweight, beating Jennifer Chieng of the Federated States of Micronesia in the opening round before losing to eventual bronze medalist Anastasia Belyakova of Russia in the quarterfinals. (Chieng, by the way, has gone into professional MMA, winning her debut fight with Bellator last October.)
The Fury-Schwarz card is starting to come together a bit. We know that heavyweight prospects Guido Vianello (another former Olympian) and Sonny Conto will be on the bill in separate bouts, and it looks like Sullivan Barrera will face Jesse Hart in a light heavyweight co-feature.
The show will stream live on ESPN+.
