Tomorrow night at 10 pm ET on UFC Fight, RJJ Boxing has a card from Tucson, Arizona, headlined by Ikrame Kerwat against Simone Da Silva in a 10-round main event.
UFC veteran Joe “Diesel” Riggs was advertised to make his pro boxing debut in the opening bout of this show, but that’s off because Riggs’ opponent Daviante Jones pulled out at the last minute.
Anyway, the show goes on. Kerwat (9-1, 5 KO) weighed in at 130.6, with Da Silva (15-12, 6 KO) at 125.6. The fight is supposed to be for a WBC “silver” title at 130.
In the co-feature, bantamweight prospect Max Ornelas (12-0-1, 4 KO) weighed in at 118.8, with Alex Rangel (17-9-4, 4 KO) at 120.6.
Local battler Alfonso Olvera (11-5-2, 4 KO) came in at 142, with opponent Carlos Villa (14-3-1, 6 KO) at 141.2.
Middleweight Nicholas Rhoads (5-0, 2 KO) weighed in at 159, with Eduardo Ayala (4-0, 1 KO) listed as LATER.
The swing fight will be between Arturo Resendiz (2-0, 2 KO) and Jose Pena (2-1, 1 KO), who both weighed in at 159.4.
Not airing on the live stream for whatever reason, the most interesting and probably highest-level fight on the card is between Madiyar Ashkeyev (11-0, 6 KO) and Cecil McCalla (21-3, 8 KO). They weighed in at 153.8 and 153.2, respectively, for their vacant NABF junior middleweight title fight.
