Six days after brother Jermell attempts to reclaim his super welterweight title in Las Vegas, Jermall Charlo will make a hometown defense against Brandon Adams with a light heavyweight mismatch between Marcus Browne and Jean Pascal in the co-feature.

BoxRec has the fight taking place at NRG Arena.

Charlo (28-0, 21 KO) battered Jorge Sebastian Heiland in his middleweight debut, then thrashed Hugo Centeno Jr. in under four minutes to claim the interim WBC title. He had more trouble than expected against late replacement Matt Korobov in December, but walked away with a unanimous decision.

Adams (21-2, 13 KO), who won the rebooted “Contender” tournament, was part of the GGG Sweepstakes before electing to face Charlo instead.

Browne (23-0, 16 KO) went from terrorizing the mother of his child to upsetting Badou Jack for the interim WBA light heavyweight title in January. Pascal (33-6-1, 20 KO) is coming off of a one-sided loss to Dmitry Bivol in his second fight since “retiring” in 2017.
