Today at 2 pm ET from London’s famous York Hall, Conor Benn returns in the main event against Jussi Koivula, a 10-round welterweight bout.
Benn, 22, is an exciting, flawed, but ever-improving second generation fighter, the son of Nigel Benn. Today, he faces Koivula, a 35-year-old Finnish veteran who lost his last outing via 12-round decision on April 26 in France against Jody Weiss.
The British 154-pound title is also on the line today, as Ted Cheeseman looks to return from defeat in a European title bid in February, defending his belt against Kieron Conway. Cheeseman is the favorite in this one.
And in a 175-pound British title eliminator, Craig Richards faces Andre Sterling. The winner is in line for a shot at the belt held by Joshua Buatsi.
