Tonight at 10 pm ET on Showtime, ShoBox: The New Generation is back with a tripleheader from Iowa, headlined by the young man who may be the tallest junior middleweight in boxing history.
Sebastian Fundora, a 6’7” southpaw at 154 pounds, will take on Manuel Zepeda in the 10-round headliner. Fundora’s unbeaten so far, but we’re all still sort of waiting to see if he’s more prospect or project.
In the co-feature, Michel Rivera of the Dominican Republic faces Mexico’s Rene Tellez Giron in an eight-round battle of unbeaten lightweights, and it’s two more lightweights in another eight-round opener, pitting Yeis Solano and Elias Araujo.
We won’t have full normal coverage for this one, but more shadow coverage as our focus is on Cancio-Machado II. But we’ll have the results as they come in.
