Juan Francisco Estrada signs deal with Matchroom Boxing

With his next fight set for Aug. 24 on DAZN, WBC super flyweight titleholder Juan Francisco Estrada has officially signed a deal with Matchroom Boxing and Zanfer Promotions.

Estrada (39-3, 26 KO) won the WBC 115-pound belt on April 26 on DAZN, beating Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in a main event rematch from Inglewood, California. It was a good fight and one where Estrada’s skills were on display, as he claimed his spot at the top of the super flyweight division.

“I’m very excited to be fighting again on DAZN where I won the WBC title,” said Estrada. “I look forward to defending my title for Mexico and for all my fans and hopefully I can soon unify titles with the other champions of the division.

“I’m very motivated being champion once again and I’m ready to show that I’m a champion to be reckoned with.”
