WBO featherweight titleholder Oscar Valdez and Jason Sanchez are just one step away from being set for Saturday night’s ESPN main event, and that’s taking to the scales today in Reno, Nevada.
The weigh-in goes live at 6 pm ET on ESPN+.
Valdez is making the sixth defense of the title that he won back in July 2016, last fighting on Feb. 2, when he stopped Carmine Tommasone in seven rounds. Sanchez is taking a huge step up here, a virtual unknown getting a world title shot.
