This evening at 7 pm ET from Hermosillo, Mexico, live on DAZN, WBC super flyweight titleholder Juan Francisco Estrada returns in the main event, defending his title against Dewayne Beamon.
Wil Esco will be here with the round-by-round call starting with the main card at 9 pm ET.
Estrada, 29, is coming off of a huge win over Srisaket Sor Rungvisai on April 26, and this has been lined up as something of a victory lap, a homecoming fight against Beamon, a once-beaten 34-year-old from North Carolina. But Beamon is familiar to the rings of Mexico, too, having fought his last six bouts in the country. He isn’t seen as a top 10 fighter at 115 — or even particularly close — but he’s got his shot.
The show will also feature returns for Liam Smith and Jono Carroll, plus top heavyweight prospect Filip Hrgovic, top junior welterweight prospect Shakhram Giyasov, and good young prospects Alexis Espino and Diego Pacheco, both just starting their careers.
