Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell
Round 1: Campbell steps out to center ring and starts working his lead right hand upstairs to dictate range. Campbell throws a right jab down to the body. Campbell stalks forward and Campbell misses on a left hand to the body. Campbell keeping Loma busy with an active lead hand and Loma is content to take Campbell’s measure early. Jab from Campbell falls a little short. Now Campbell tries a straight left tot he body that grazes Loma. Loma using a lot of uppercut body movement to find an angle to cut the distance on Campbell. Lead right hook goes to the head and body from Campbell Left hand lands upstairs for Campbell. Campbell 10-9.
Round 2: Campbell comes out moving his lead right hand early, trying to keep Loma occupied. Campbell probes with the jab and then throws a left hand behind hit. Campbell continues to move his lead hand but Loma slips under it and lands a jab and a body shot. Straight left hand to the body partially lands for Campbell Double jab lands for Loma, who then steps out of range of Campbell’s counter. Left to the body lansd for Campbell. Double jab comes from Loma again and makes good contact. Campbell fires back and manhandles Loma in a clinch. Jab lands downstairs for Loma. Left to the body scores for Loma, who I edge this round to. Lomachenko 10-9, 19-19.
Round 3: Loma comes out and scores a stiff jab to the body. Loma skirts the outside of the ring and then steps back towards center ring and slips a few long shots from Campbell. Campbell misses on a left hook to the body. Left hook comes from Campbell and partially lands upstairs. Double jab comes from Loma and he scores one well. Campbell throws a short combination that makes some contact but doesn’t land much clean. Clean left hand from Loma snaps Campbell’s head back! Loma is getting bold and taunting Campbell right before he threw that punch. Loma ducks a hook from Campbell and Campbell throws and scores a nice uppercut with his left hand. I’m going to edge this round to Lomachenko as well. Lomachenko 10-9.
Round 4: Campbell paws with his jab to start the round, Loma counters with a right hand. Loma probing more aggressively with his footwork, trying to apply more pressure on Campbell. Campbell rattles off a few punches as Loma covers up. Short left hand lands upstairs for Campbell Straight left hand scores for Loma. Loma blocks a couple of shots from Campbell but Campbell goes down to the body with two shots. Two more body shots come from Campbell. Campbell throes a body shot and a little forearm that he gets away with. Short left on the inside lands for Campbell. Now Loma comes in with a hard body shot that gets Campbell’s attention. Close rounds early. I’m going with Campbell by a slight margin. Campbell 10-9, 38-38.
Round 5: Campbell comes out stalking. Loma ducks a few shots from Campbell upstairs. Jab partially lands for Loma. Left hand lands upstairs for Campbell. Campbell bounces side-to-side along the ropes and then throws a left hand lead. Lead left lands for Loma this time. Campbell touches the body with a jab, then misses on a left uppercut. Loma lands a left hand to the body. Straight left scores for Loma to the body, then the head moments later. Hard left lands for Loma that hurts Campbell badly to the body! Loma goes on the attack but the bell rings. Lomachenko 10-9.
Round 6: Clean jab from Loma snaps Campbell’s head back. Campbell tries to come back with a straight left that falls short. Both fighters trade jabs. Now Campbell scores a left hand to the body. Campbell misses on a big left hand as Loma ducks underneath. Double right hook to the body scores for Campbell. Combination from Loma lands on Campbell in the corner. Loma is starting to pick it up as Campbell is starting to fade. Loma scores another jab upstairs. Loma lands another jab upstairs and Campbell fires abck and Loma shakes his head. Lomachenko 10-9, 58-56.
Round 7: Loma starts with a jab to the body that falls a little short. Clean jab from Loma snaps Campbell’s head back again. Now Loma partially lands a left hand over the top. Campbell misses on two shots as Loma steps along the ropes. Jab lands for Campbell upstairs, Loma returns the favor. Jab lands upstaris for Loma again. Lead right hook from Campbell gets blocked by Loma. Loma walks into a clean shot from Campbell and it might’ve stunned Loma a little! Campbell looking to come forward and Loma baits him into a right hook to the head. Another hard hook lands for Loma upstairs as he goes on the strafe Campbell along the ropes until Campbell is forced to grab hold. Jab lands for Loma, then a body shot. Campbell is starting to take a little bit of a beating now. Lomachenko 10-9.
Round 8: Campbell comes out probing with his lead hand again and falls short on a shot. Campbell gets in close and Campbell lands a good body shot. Double jab lands upstairs for Loma. Lead left hand lands upstairs and downstairs for Loma. Campbell fires a jab back in return. Hard left to the body lands for Loma. Now Loma gets in a left hook upstairs across Campbell’s chin. Loma has Campbell on the ropes and hits him with a couple more hooks. Right hook to the body brings down Campbell’s elbow. Campbell lands a short left at close range. Short combination lands on the inside for Loma. Now Campbell gets in a good body shot. Campbell is fighting hard but Loma is winning these rounds. Lomachenko 10-9, 78-74.
Round 9: Campbell stalking early as Loma circles the outside of the ring. Now Loma steps in behind a jab. Campbell throws a one-two that doesn’t quite find the target. Loma ducks a couple shots from Campbell and then goes down to the body with a left hand. Jab to the body lands for Loma. Left hand to the body lands for Loma, Campbell gets in one in return. Left hand from Loma lands over the top. Campbell lands a nice shot to the body at the end of a three-punch combination. Clean left hand lands upstairs for Campbell. Campbell 10-9.
Round 10: Referee calls timeout to wipe some excess vaseline off Loma’s face. Jab lands upstairs for Loma. Both fighters trade jabs and both land. Left hand lands over the top for Loma who then pivots to the side of Campbell. Jab lands again for Loma, the a straight left to the body. Now Campbell gets in a solid body shot. Short left uppercut partially lands for Campbell. Loma lands a right hook in close before Campbell circles back to center ring. Jab lands for Loma again. Lomachenko 10-9, 97-93.
Round 11: Jabs come from Loma to open the round. Loma lands a clean jab upstairs while Campbell returns and gets in a counter. Two punches land for Campbell as Loma steps in close. Left hand downstairs scores for Campbell. Short left hand lands clean across Campbell’s chin. Hard body shot lands for Loma, putting Campbell in a bad way and he eventually goes down to his knees! Campbell gets up and Loma is pouring it on! Campbell ties up Loma along the ropes but there’s still 30 seconds in this round. Hard body shot comes from Campbell but he doesn’t have the gas to fight off Loma’s counter. Campbell starts bouncing along the outside of the ring and Loma lets him. Lomachenko 10-8.
Round 12: Campbell comes out and throws three punches as Loma cover up. Left hook falls short for Campbell. Now Campbell charges in behind an uppercut as Loma steps out of range. Hard body shot lands for Campbell who then bounces to the side. Hard left to the body lands for Loma, Campbell gets one back and Loma complains of a low blow. The referee tells Campbell to keep the punches up. Left hand from Campbell falls short. Now both fighters exchange and land on each other. Loma comes forward and chases Campbell down with a few punches and Campbell is so hurt he tackles Lomachenko to survive being knocked down! Loma lands a left hand to the body. Lomachenko 10-9, 117-110.
Alexander Povetkin vs Hughie Fury
Round 1: Fury comes out with his herky-jerky movement, using a lot of feints before sticking a jab. Povetkin leaps in with a left hook that doesn’t land well. Fury throws a couple of jabs and the an overhand right on the inside. Fury throws a couple of jabs at range that don’t land and then circles to his left. Fury misses on a long right hand. Povetkin misses on a lead left hook that falls short. Jab partially lands for Fury. Povetkin jumps in again behind the hook but gets in too close and can’t land it well. Left hand lands for Fury just before the bell. Fury 10-9.
Round 2: Jab partially lands for Fury as he looks to keep this fight on the outside, and has been successful early. More long jabs come from Fury who then steps to the side. Povetkin misses on an overhand right as Fury steps out of range. Double jab comes from Fury, then a third. Left lands on the inside for Povetkin as he gets in Fury’s chest for a moment. Short right hand lands on the inside for Fury. Povetkin misses on another leaping right that can’t find the mark. Fury 10-9, 20-18.
Round 3: Jabs come from Fury just to keep Povetkin at arms reach. Povetkin tries a short uppercut on the inside but doesn’t quite land it clean. Now Povetkin whiffs on a leaping left hook. Right hand lands clean for Fury upstairs. Povetkin tries to touch the body with a right hand on the inside. Fury throws two shots that push Povetkin back for a second. Povetkin lands a left hand but misses three others. Fury gets back to his jab and then ties Povetkin up on the inside. Jab lands again for Fury at center ring. Povetkin leaps in with a couple ineffective punches before Fury ties him up again. Fury 10-9.
Round 4: Fury measures with a few jabs and the misses on a straight right hand. Overhand right lands for Povetkin, who found the range this time. Another right hand lands for Povetkin, and a left hand. Fury better get back on his Ps and Qs. Fury throws a jab and then covers up as he anticipates a charge from Povetkin. Body shot lands for Povetkin. Fury throws a wide right that misses. Povetkin throws a short uppercut on the inside that lands pretty well. Povetkin just misses on a huge right hand upstairs. Povetkin 10-9, 37-39.
Round 5: Povetkin comes out stalking and Fury tries to meet him with a one-two combination. Right hand lands to the body for Povetkin, Fury ties him up. Fury has been getting lazy with his jab which is allowing Povetkin to get on the inside much more often. Fury throws a few wide hooks with both hands that Povetkin ducks. Both fighters exchange momentarily but neither land anything clean. Povetkin 10-9.
Round 6: Fury throws a long jab that misses and the fighters end up in a clinch. Povetkin works the body with two hooks on the inside. Fury tries to time a big right hand that Povetkin just manages to duck. Right hand over the top just grazes Povetkin upstairs. Huge right hook from Povetkin misses and throws him off balance. Two shots land on the inside for Fury this time. Leaping left hook from Povetkin gets caught on Fury’s guard. Fury tries to back Povetkin up as Povetkin steps out or range of the punches. Fury 10-9, 58-56.
Round 7: Povetkin comes out pressing and Fury measures with a jab. Fury throws a couple of ineffective shots on the inside before stepping back to range. Povetkin throws a few shots that mostly lands on Fury’s guard. Right hand from Fury grazes Povetkin upstairs. Right hand from Povetkin misses upstairs. Fury lands a right hand at mid-range before the fighters fall into another clinch. Double left hook from Povetkin gets blocked. Fury throws three punches that miss but Povetkin lands a right hand counter. Right hand from Fury grazes Povetkin again upstairs. Close round, I edge it to Fury. Fury 10-9. 68-65.
Round 8: Fury falls short with a jab. Povetkin tries a right hand down to the body but doesn’t land it well. Povetkin tries to leap in with a left hook that gets blocked. Right hand from Povetkin lands upstairs this time. Fury misses on another right hand upstairs as Povetkin duckes under the shot. Right hand to the body lands for Povetkin. Povetkin steps right back in Fury’s chest tries to throw a couple more shots that don’t land clean. A couple good body shots land for Povetkin. Right hand lands upstairs for Povetkin and has Fury retreating for a moment. Povetkin 10-9, 75-77.
Round 9: Fury measures with a jab and then flicks a few more that don’t land. Lead left hook comes from Povetkin that doesn’t land clean. Fury tries a one-two that also doesn’t land well. Lead left hook lands on Fury’s chin. Povetkin charges forward with a few shots that put Fury in a corner. Fury gets back to his jab and tries to keep Povetkin at range but Povetkin just makes contact and Fury is bleeding a little from his left eye. Fury blocks two hooks from Povetkin, who then lands a right hand. Povetkin 10-9.
Round 10: Fury throws a couple half-hearted jabs and Povetkin ducks low and looks to land a big left hook that Fury just evades. Right hand lands to the body for Fury, who then clubs Povetkin with a right hook on the inside. Fury tries a one-two but ends up in a clinch with Povetkin. Both fighters are tired and are clinching more than punching at this point. I don’t think either fighter won this round, 10-10.
Round 11: Fury tries to keep Povetkin at range with several jabs before he throws a couple of meaningful shots. Fury tries to go to the body with a right hook. Both fighters fall into a clinch in the corner and the referee is forced to break them. Right hand from Povetkin lands clean on Fury. Fury throws two shots and then holds. Fury throws a short right to the body as they wrestle in a clinch. Right hand lands for Povetkin again upstairs. Povetkin 10-9 with the two big right hands.
Round 12: Well, whoever wins this round wins the fight on my card. Both fighters touch gloves. Fury throws several jabs and then throws a right hand to the body. Fury throws a one-two that just misses and the fighters clinch again. Povetkin tries to press forward but can’t get anything off before another clinch is initiated. Now Povetkin lands a couple body shots on the inside. Jab lands clean for Povetkin. Both fighters miss on some big shots and clinch once again. Right hand lands upstairs for Povetkin. Fury throws a combination up close to the body. Right hand to the body lands for Povetkin. Povetkin 10-9, 115-114.
Charlie Edwards vs Julio Cesar Martinez
Round 1: Edwards comes out with a feint, then trades jabs with Martinez. Martinez presses forward, feints, and lets go a jab of his own. Martinez slips a jab, then Edwards partially lands one. Both fighters trade and land jabs. Two shots land for Martinz at mid-range. Edwards gets back to his jab as he stands center ring. Lunging left hook misses for Martinez. Martinez steps into a stiff jab from Edwards. Martinez doubles on on the left hand and makes pretty good contact upstairs. Hard body shot lands for Martinez but Edwards gets in one shot in return. Check hook partially lands upstairs for Edwards. UPpercut lands for Martinez but he takes another counter. I’m going to slightly edge this round to Martinez for a couple of those combinations. Martinez 10-9.
Round 2: Several left hands come from Martinez but he again eats a clean counter from Edwards in return. Now Edwards throws a short combination and makes a little contact. Hard combination comes from Martinez who lands a couple shots down to the body. Edwards throws a jab but is largely limited to throwing one shot at a time. Jab to the body partially lands for Martinez. Martinez throws four straight left hands at he counters a jab from Edwards. Two body shots land for Martinez. I like Martinez in this round. Martinez 10-9, 20-18.
Round 3: Martinez comes out stalking as Edwards tries to circle the outside of the ring. Edwards throws a few more singular jabs and Martinez times one and throws a combination to the body and head. Edwards just isn’t throwing enough combinations, making it easy for Martinez to follow him with a flurry of punches. Martinez throws a crazy flurry of punches without stopping and eventually puts Edwards down, then lands a left hook to the body with Edwards on the canvas! Edwards rolls over in pain and can’t get up! It’s ruled a KO but I think Edwards might appeal that punch while he was down. Martinez KO-3.

Today at 1 pm ET, streaming live on ESPN+ in the United States and airing on Sky Box Office in the United Kingdom, Vasiliy Lomachenko headlines a big card in London against Luke Campbell, with three lightweight titles at stake.

Lomachenko, 31, is considered by everyone at least one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the sport today, if not the No. 1 guy period. The three-division titleholder will be defending his WBA and WBO 135-pound titles, and the vacant WBC belt is also on the line. The 31-year-old Campbell, a fellow Olympic gold medalist, is a solid contender and will have some physical advantages as a natural lightweight, but Lomachenko is the big favorite.
The card will also feature several more fights of note, including a heavyweight bout between Hughie Fury and Alexander Povetkin; Charlie Edwards defending the WBC flyweight title against Julio Cesar Martinez; Joshua Buatsi taking on Ryan Ford; Joe Cordina defending the British and Commonwealth lightweight titles against Gavin Gwynne; and Savannah Marshall making her Matchroom debut.
