Heavyweight contender Adam Kownacki welcomes first child into the world

As Adam Kownacki’s star rises, he has become a father for the first time.

His boxing star is on the rise, but it seems like being a proud papa is making Adam Kownacki as happy as any prize fight could.

“So far the greatest feeling in the world,” said the 20-0 heavyweight, last seen besting Chris Arreola on Aug. 3 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, in the main event of a PBC on FOX broadcast. “Especially when he gives you a smirk.”

“He” is Kazimierz Kowancki, born on Aug. 25, as an ultra mini flyweight, 8.5 pounds.

Mom Justyna gets due credit on this Labor Day, it must be noted.

“It’s the start so hard to tell,” the 30-year-old, born in Poland and now living on Long Island, NY, told Bad Left Hook. “But I think this will be harder because you are worried about someone else’s life!”
