Sergey Kovalev assault accuser files lawsuit, alleges breach of settlement

The suit alleges that Kovalev paid less than half of the agreed-upon amount

Sergey Kovalev may have gotten a brief reprieve after the judge postponed his assault trial, but his problems are compounding. His accuser, who alleges that “Krusher” punched her in the face and attacked her dog after she rejected his advances, has filed a civil suit claiming that Kovalev failed to honor the agreement they made in return for her dropping the initial suit.

Frontz had sued Kovalev for assault and battery demanding $8 MILLION — but claims she agreed to drop the case after reaching a confidential settlement with the boxer.

The problem ... Frontz claims Kovalev hasn’t lived up to his end of the bargain so she’s exposing the terms of the secret deal in a NEW lawsuit.

According to the court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Frontz claims Kovalev agreed to fork over $650,000 in 3 easy installments ... but stopped paying after cutting the initial $250,000 check in October.

Kovalev recently changed attorneys for the criminal case, which dates back to 2018. Last year also saw him allegedly kicked off a plane for “grabbing a woman’s hand, kissing her and throwing cash at her,” though he was not arrested or charged.

He’s competed four times since the initial incident, so there’s every possibility he returns to the ring in the near future as legal proceedings...proceed. Perhaps a tussle with fellow asshole Marcus Browne?
