Thursday, Jan. 23
DAZN, 10:00 pm ET, Jason Quigley vs Oscar Cortes Fernando Marin, Ferdinand Kerobyan vs Azael Cosio, Mihai Nistor vs Jaime Solorio. Thursday Night Fights is back and ... well, this isn’t the most promising lineup, being honest. I usually tell people to tune in because this is a proven fun series with some fan friendly matchmaking and action, but I dunno here. I mean, obviously, yes, you should tune in, see some boxing, chat some nonsense with us, but I’m not going to oversell this card to you. BLH will have live coverage.
Saturday, Jan. 25
YouTube/Facebook, 7:00 pm ET, Patrick Harris vs Clay Burns, Keeshawn Williams vs Gaku Takahashi, Lorenzo Simpson vs Antonio Louis Hernandez. Showtime will have streaming prelims on Saturday. None of these matchups are, like, actually interesting at all. Just a trio of prospects in fights. But it means more boxing, which is good. BLH will have live coverage.
SHO, 9:00 pm ET, Danny Garcia vs Ivan Redkach, Jarrett Hurd vs Francisco Santana, Stephen Fulton vs Arnold Khegai. Garcia and Hurd are back in tune-ups from Brooklyn, but they should at least be decent TV. Redkach is a reckless warrior who always comes to bang, and Danny usually matches up for fun with guys like that. It’s also Garcia looking to face a southpaw to stay sharp for either Errol Spence Jr (whom he was supposed to be fighting on PPV on this date) or Manny Pacquiao later this year. Hurd has a new team and is sort of resetting his career a bit, with the possibility of another title shot next should he win. Fulton-Khegai is a good matchup of unbeaten 122-pounders. BLH will have live coverage.
