Golden Boy’s Thursday Night Fights returns tonight at 10:00 pm ET, streaming live on DAZN for subscribers, and you can also watch for free on Golden Boy’s Facebook page.

In the main event, Ireland’s Jason Quigley looks to continue his bounce-back from his first pro loss last year, facing late replacement opponent Fernando Marin in a fight technically at super middleweight, by virtue of a catchweight between 160 and 168.

Quigley was stopped after nine rounds last July against Tureano Johnson, and returned in December for a quiet comeback against a tune-up opponent. Tonight’s fight with Marin doesn’t figure to be much different; the 31-year-old from Mexico came in on just a few days’ notice, and hasn’t fought since last July, when he was stopped in three by Serhii Bohachuk. Marin is really a natural welterweight.

Quigley-Marin is set for 10 rounds.

In the co-feature, the always-fun Ferdinand Kerobyan will be back in an eight-round junior middleweight fight against Azael Cosio. The 22-year-old Kerobyan’s only loss came in a competitive decision against Blair Cobbs in Mar. 2019, and he’s won two straight since. The 38-year-old Cosio has lost five of his last six, four of those by stoppage.

29-year-old Romanian heavyweight Mihai Nistor will open the broadcast in an eight-round bout against Mexico’s Jaime Solorio. Solorio, 31, was a junior middleweight from 2008-10, then didn’t fight again until 2017 when he returned at super middleweight. He last fought in 2018, weighing about 183 pounds, and was 234 on the scales for this fight.

Main Card (DAZN/Facebook, 10:00 pm ET)

  • Jason Quigley (17-1, 13 KO) vs Fernando Marin (16-4-3, 12 KO), super middleweights, 10 rounds
  • Ferdinand Kerobyan (13-1, 8 KO) vs Azael Cosio (21-8-2, 18 KO), junior middleweights, 8 rounds
  • Mihai Nistor (1-0, 1 KO) vs Jaime Solorio (12-3-2, 9 KO), heavyweights, 8 rounds
