Garcia vs Redkach card set, all fighters make weight

Tomorrow’s Showtime tripleheader is a go.

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

Saturday night’s Showtime PBC tripleheader from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center is fully set, as all six fighters made weight this afternoon in New York.

The main event will see Danny Garcia (35-2, 21 KO) take on Ivan Redkach (23-4-1, 18 KO) in a 12-round welterweight bout. The former two-division titleholder Garcia weighed in at the limit of 147, with Redkach at 146¾.

The co-feature is a 10-round junior middleweight (actually 155-pound catchweight) bout between former titleholder Jarrett Hurd (23-1, 16 KO) and Francisco Santana (25-7-1, 12 KO). Hurd, looking to come back from his first pro defeat, weighed in at 154½, with Santana at 155.

The opener is a 12-round WBO eliminator at junior featherweight between Stephen Fulton (17-0, 8 KO) and Arnold Khegai (16-0-1, 10 KO), with the winner in line for a shot at the belt held by Emanuel Navarrete. Fulton weighed in at 122, right on the limit, and Khegai at 121¾.

Bad Left Hook will have live coverage tomorrow night beginning at 7:00 pm ET with the prelim stream on YouTube, featuring three more fights, and continuing at 9:00 pm ET with the main card tripleheader on Showtime, for which we’ll have round-by-round coverage.
