With just three days before Matchroom Boxing’s Sunday show at Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England, promoter Eddie Hearn announced that he himself has tested positive for COVID-19, and has had to leave the company’s bubble facility.

The show will still go on as planned.

“Gutted to just find out I tested positive for COVID-19 today and have to leave the bubble immediately,” Hearn Tweeted. “Thankfully all other tests were negative. Heading home to rest.”

Sunday’s event features the return of rising light heavyweight contender Joshua Buatsi (12-0, 7 KO), who faces Croatian amateur veteran Marko Calic (11-0, 6 KO), plus Chantelle Cameron (12-0, 7 KO) taking on Adriana Araujo (6-0, 1 KO) for the vacant WBC junior welterweight title, and Linus Udofia (15-0, 7 KO) meeting John Harding Jr (8-1-1, 2 KO) for the English middleweight belt. Alen Babic, Aqib Fiaz, and John Hedges will also be in action, with Hedges making his pro debut.

Sunday’s show will stream live on DAZN starting at 2 pm ET, and BLH will have live coverage.
