Tonight starting at 7 pm ET streaming live on DAZN, Juan Francisco Estrada and Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez will defend their 115-pound titles as the two look to set up a long-awaited rematch, which would be a unification fight.
Estrada, 30, will defend his WBC title against Carlos Cuadras, 32, in what is also a rematch, and make no mistake, Cuadras wants to win and get his own rematch with Chocolatito, the 33-year-old Nicaraguan who will defend his WBA belt against 23-year-old Israel Gonzalez, who will be taking his third crack at a world title.
The show will also feature WBC flyweight titleholder Julio Cesar Martinez in action against late notice opponent Moises Calleros. The 25-year-old Martinez made weight on Thursday, but the 31-year-old Calleros didn’t even come close, which wasn’t exactly a surprise.
