As heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev nears his December 12 title shot against reigning unified titleholder Anthony Joshua, Pulev tells the Betway Insider that he’s coming to make a real statement, and assures that his level of toughness is well beyond what Joshua is capable of handling.

In fact, Pulev says that Joshua hasn’t shown much mental toughness and that’s not something that one can simply just develop — you either have it or you don’t. According to Pulev, Joshua doesn’t, and Pulev thinks that’ll be the difference-maker.

“Yes, he has skills, but he hasn’t shown the mental strength. This is something from within, in the blood of a man, and he does not have it.

“I can tell the fans that I will expose AJ again and prove they have been idolizing the wrong guy. I will expose him to the world for a second time.”

Pulev would continue by discussing how he’s been running in the mountains, in high altitude, in order to prepare his stamina, while also training at an Olympic center. The Bulgarian fighter would of course state that he’s in the best condition, physically and mentally, that he’s ever been before and that he’s fully prepared to win this fight to become a world champion.
