Nate Diaz: Jake Paul can’t really fight, is going to get beaten up ‘for real’

If you missed it (how could you?!), Jake Paul is still out there calling out Conor McGregor, which in and of itself is one thing, but his rather vile attack on McGregor’s wife in particular isn’t going to sit well with a lot of people, and frankly shouldn’t.

One person who feels Paul is crossing a line is former McGregor UFC opponent Nate Diaz, who warns Paul that the way he’s talking is risking him getting “his ass whooped for real”:

Diaz famously upset McGregor at UFC 196 in 2016, choking the Irish superstar out in the second round. He lost a decision in a rematch five months later at UFC 202.

It’s hard to say he’s wrong here. McGregor might well be able to laugh it off, but talking about a fighter is one thing, even talking about a promoter the way Paul did Dana White is one thing. Bringing a fighter’s family into it is pretty low, it’s childish internet stuff. And while McGregor is not a pro boxer, let’s be real here: Jake Paul isn’t either, and two wins over a limp looking YouTube guy and a basketball player have either filled his head with a dangerous level of delusion, or he’s playing a part that is getting a little out of hand.
