Billy Joe Saunders’ next mandatory challenger will be decided on March 7th in Manchester when WBO #2 super middleweight Zach Parker faces #1 Rohan Murdock in a final eliminator, joining Scott Quigg-Jono Carroll on DAZN.

Parker (18-0, 12 KO), 25, served as a reserve for the WBSS semifinal between George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr., wiping out Adasat Rodriguez on the undercard. He’s since fought on two more WBSS cards, winning the British title with a controversial decision over Darryll Williams in which the former suffered a dislocated shoulder. He also owns a 2017 decision win over Luke Blackledge.

Murdock (24-1, 17 KO), unbeaten since facing kickboxing veteran Steve Moxon in his third pro fight, has spent nearly the entirety of his nine-year career competing in his native Australia. He nipped over to the States in 2018 to score a stoppage win on Top Rank’s Jerwin Ancajas-Israel Gonzalez card, then returned to the Land Down Under for his next two wins. His record is similarly unspectacular, anchored by wins over former WBO trinket holders Apti Ustarkhanov and Rolando Wenceslao Mansilla.

The event will also see Callum Johnson face Igor Mikhalkin for the European light heavyweight title, plus the latest from Hughie Fury and Anthony Fowler against TBA.
