McKinson (18-0, 2 KO) has earned a handful of alphabet trinkets during his five-year career, twice defending the WBC international silver welterweight title and recently claiming the WBO European belt with a decision over Evgeny Pavko. He was last seen beating future ShoBox B-side Luis Veron in November. Greene (12-1, 7 KO), on the other hand, has won three straight since dropping a decision to Larry Ekundayo in December of 2018.
Edwards (15-1, 6 KO) challenged for a world title in his ninth pro fight, only to get mauled by John Riel Casimero. Six fights later, he upset Cristofer Rosales, who’d knocked out Japanese wunderkind Daigo Higa, and successfully defended his new WBC belt with a decision over Angel Moreno. Then came his bizarre defense against mandatory challenger Julio Cesar Martinez, who appeared to have the Surrey native dead to rights before uncorking a blatant shot to a downed opponent and earning a No Contest in the process. Rather than pursue the rematch, Edwards vacated and moved to super flyweight, where he’ll compete on this show.
Walsh (23-1, 15 KO) enjoyed a solid reign as British super featherweight champion before making a bid for the IBF title in 2017. Unfortunately for him, Gervonta Davis held the belt at the time, and “Tank” promptly dismantled him in three rounds. “Destiny” would sit out for almost exactly two years, returning in 2019 to defeat Reynaldo Cajina and Maxi Hughes.
