ShoBox: The New Generation will return to a familiar setting at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota, for a Mar. 13 quadrupleheader.
140-pound prospect Brandun Lee (18-0, 16 KO) will be in the main event against Cuban Camilo Prieto (15-2, 9 KO), set for 10 rounds.
The 20-year-old Lee, a California native, made his ShoBox debut last September, stopping Milton Arauz in the second round. He last fought in January, beating veteran Miguel Zamudio via first round stoppage. At 5’10” with a 71” reach, he’s got good size for the junior welterweight division, and has shown real power so far.
Prieto, 33, was listed on BoxRec for a Mar. 13 fight in Miami against Gustavo Molina, but this is obviously a bigger opportunity. He’s won his last seevn fights, all at lower levels in the Dominican Republic and Colombia. The fight with Lee will mark his U.S. debut.
In the co-feature, Brian Norman Jr (16-0, 14 KO) will take on Flavio Rodriguez (9-1-1, 7 KO) in a welterweight fight. The card will also feature Alejandro Guerrero (11-0, 9 KO) vs Jose Angulo (12-1, 5 KO) at lightweight, and Aram Avagyan (9-0-1, 4 KO) vs Dagoberto Aguero (17-0, 11 KO) at featherweight. All three of those fights will be set for eight rounds.
