Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury

Round 1: Fury comes out to center ring and Wilder lands a jab early. Firy comes forward and throws a jab to the body that falls short. Wilder lets Fury come to him as he steps to his left. Long right hand from Fury misses. Hard right hand lands over the top for Wilder. Right hook comes from Fury but Wilder blocks it pretty well. Jab to the body falls short for Wilder. Right hand lead lands for Fury. Fury comes forward some more and jabs to the body. Jab lads upstairs for Fury. Fury feints and and feints and throws a jab to the body. Lead left hook lands for Fury, Wilder lands a big right to the body. Fury comes back but misses over the top but then lands a clean jab that snaps Wilder’s head back. Fury 10-9.

Round 2: Jab goes upstairs for Wilder. Jab lands to the body for Wilder. Now Wilder jabs to the body again as Fury comes forward. Fury jab upstairs and lands, Wilder comes back with a jab to the body. RIght hand lands over the top for Wilder this time, glancing off Fury’s head. Wilder misses on the next big right hand missile. Jab lands to the body for Wilder. Both fighters trade and Fury might’ve landed the better punch. Right hand from Wilder grazes Fury upstairs. Jab lands clean for Fury. Now Fury lands a right hand upstairs with Wilder along the ropes. Wilder comes back forward and lands a right hand of his own. Both fighters get tangled in the corner at the bell. I’ll edge this one to Wilder. Wilder 10-9, 19-19.

Round 3: Wilder reaches on a jab that misses then falls short one one to the body. Fury lands a jab upstairs and then one to the body. Fury comes forward and lands a right hand upstairs. Fury lands another shot as Wilder stepped in. Fury just misses on an overhand right before getting into a clinch with Wilder. Jab lands clean for Fury upstairs. Another jab pushes Wilder back a bit, then a right hand. Fury sticks a jab and then looks for a home for his right hand but can’t land it on the target. SHOT FROM FURY PUTS WILDER DOWN! Wilder gets up and Fury meets him with a right hand. Wilder falls into Fury and falls to the canvas but it’s ruled a push. Fury 10-8.

Round 4: Wilder falls short on a jab. Wilder misses on a left hook upstairs and gets tangled with Fury. Referee gives both fighters a stern warning for their wrestling. Right hand from Fury justs misses upstairs. Right hand misses and Wilder falls to the canvas as he ducks down! Fury lands a clean shot to the body. Another right hand lands down to the body for Fury. Wilder throws a hail mary right hand and it misses badly. Wilder is on unsteady legs ever since that knockdown from last round with a shot that hit behind the head. Wilder misses on a left hand. Fury mauls Wilder in the corner and then leans on him in the clinch to wear on Wilder’ legs. Wilder misses on two more punches at the bell. Fury 10-9, 39-36.

Round 5: Fury comes out and lands a big right hand over the top! Wilder is rocked on the ropes! Wilder looks a little shaky again but falls into a clinch with Fury. Wilder looks like he’s in dire straits now. Right hand from Fury doesn’t land but he continues to lean on Wilder. FURY LANDS A BODY SHOT THAT PUTS WILDER DOWN! Wilder gets up and wants to continue but he looks weak! Wilder misses on a big right hand but falls off balance with the miss an nearly falls on his own! Wilder and Fury get tied up again and Fury continues to lean on Wilder on the inside with that 40+ pound advantage. Right hand from Fury grazes Wilder. Now the referee calls a timeout and takes a point from Fury! Right hand lands to the body for WIlder. Fury continues to throw while Wilder tries to ride the shots at the bell. Wilder is bleeding from his ear. Fury 9-8.

Round 6: Wilder might have a busted ear drum which is why his balance is fucked. Right hand lands for Fury and Wilder is in danger again! Wilder is on the ropes and he eats another shot for Fury and and Fury puts him in a headlock in the corner and leans on him. RIght hand lands to the body for Fury. Right hand lands for Fury again upstairs and Wilder is trying to hold and ride the shots on the ropes. Clubbing right hand doesn’t land clean for Fury. Fury tries to press Wilder on the inside and Wilder is looking real beat up in the face. Fury continues to maul Wilder on the ropes and Wilder is holding on for dear life. Wilder can’t stand up steady and Wilder is in bad, bad shape. Stiff jab lands for Fury who licks blood off Wilder neck in the clinch? Fury 10-9, 58-53.

Round 7: Fury steps forward and Fury lands a sweeping left hand to the head that knocks Wilder back. Wilder is bouncing off the ropes all by himself as he can’t stand up well. His equilibrium has been destroyed by that busted ear drum. Big right hand from Wilder misses and Fury snaps a jab that lands clean. Two more shots land for Fury with Wilder along the ropes. Wilder grabs hold of Fury in the corner. Wilder steps forward behind two punches with all the power he can muster and Fury comes in with an attack and the referee has seen enough and steps in to stop the fight. Wilder is furious! Fury TKO-7.

On replay it was Wilder’s trainer who threw in the towel, causing the referee to stop the fight.

Charles Martin vs Gerald Washington

Round 1: Washington measures with a few jabs as he looks for a place to land a right hand. Straight right hand from Washington partially lands to the body. Now Washington makes a little contact to the head. Martin misses on a left to the body. Washington leads with a right hand and scores then starts using some lateral movement. Straight left to the body scores for Martin but Washington gets in a good right hand in return. Martin lands a clean shot upstairs that gets Washington’s attention. That steals the round for Martin for me. Martin 10-9.

Round 2: Washington sticks a jab and Martin looks to touch down to the body with is own. Straight left to the body scores for Martin. Martin misses on a left to the body this time. Washington times a right hand that lands upstairs as Martin steps in. Washington misses on a jab to the body this time. Straight left lands to the body for Martin again. Martin tries to touch a jab to the body but doesn’t land it clean. A couple of right hands come from Washington at the end of the round but I think Martin largely controlled it. Martin 10-9, 20-18.

Round 3: Washington tries a few jabs that don’t land. Now Martin lands a clean straight left to the head. Martin’s next straight left comes up short. Right hand to the body misses for Washington. Washington misses on a jab. Straight left lands to the body for Martin. Washington is not throwing enough punches and you’ think he knows he’s going to have to pick up the pace. Martin 10-9, though not much happened.

Round 4: Double jab comes from Washington that doesn’t land but he does get in a straight right to the body. Left hand from Martin knocks Washington back. Straight right lands to the body for Washington. Washington tries to work his jab and throws one downstairs. Straight right lands to the body for Washington as Martin lands a head shot. Straight left lands to the body for Martin. Straight left lands for Martin. Martin 10-9, 40-36.

Round 5: Jab from Martin doesn’t land clean. Washington tries a right hand but that doesn’t find the mark. Washington throws a couple of right hooks but Martin blocks them pretty well. Straight right hand to the body falls short for Washington. Right hand from Washington makes a little contact this time. Hard straight left lands for Martin as he circles Washington into it. Another left hand gets in for Martin. Another left hand lands for Martin. Shot from Martin knocks Washington off balance. Martin loses his mouthpiece but the bell ends the round before anything else can happen. Martin 10-9.

Round 6: Washington falls short on two jabs, then the right hand. Martin reaches in but can’t find the range himself. Straight right lands for Washington this time. Double right hand from Washington makes solid contact. Another right hand from Washington glances off Martin upstairs. Martin comes forward and lands a big left hand that puts Washington down! Washington gets up but the referee immediately waves it off. Martin TKO-6.

Emanuel Navarrete vs Jeo Santisima

Round 1: Santisima misses on a jab to the body. Now Navarrete comes forward with a couple punches that also miss before slipping a counter. Jab from Navarrete touches Santisima’s gloves. Double jab comes from Navarrete but doesn’t land clean. Now Navarrete lands a jab. Clan jab lands again for Navarrete. Left hook glances off Santisima. Clean jab lands again for Navarrete. Straight right lands to the body for Navarrete. Navarrete 10-9.

Round 2: Jab from Navarrete misses upstairs. Straight right from Santisima falls short. Straight right to the body from Navarrete partially lands. Now Navarrete throws a little combination without much force but makes some contact. Looping right hand partially lands for Navarrete this time. Navarrete is clearly just warming up and sort of taking his time, showing how comfortable he is in the ring. Santisima lands a right hand as Navarrete covers up along the ropes. Both fighters trade shots at center ring. Navarrete throws another short combination that the makes some contact. Navarrete 10-9, 20-18.

Round 3: Jab falls short for Navarrete. Two hard body shots land for Santisima as Navarrete covers up. Right hand falls short for Santisima. Left lands to the body at the end of a Navarrete combination. Another left land lands clean to the body and it hurts Santisima who takes a lap around the ring afterwards. Navarrete still looks hurt from that liver shot and very protective of his ribs. Hard combination lands for Navarrete. Another couple punches land for Navarrete. Another left lands to the body for Navarrete. Santisima returns fire but hes outgunned. Navarrete 10-9.

Round 4: Santisima misses on a jab. Jab lands clean for Navarrete. Left hand lands for Navarrete who then steps back before gettng into an exchange with Santisima. Long left hand lands for Navarrete upstairs. Santisima lands a jab of his own. Navarrete misses on a combination as he comes lunging in. Both fighters trade and Navarrete gets bounced off the ropes with a shot. Navarrete wants to get that back and comes charging forward with a hard combination and touches Santisima up a bit. Right hand lands upstairs for Navarrete now. Navarrete comes after Santisima at the bell. I still think Navarrete wins the round. Navarrete 10-9, 40-36.

Round 5: Navarrete is not playing with Santisma any more as he jsut comes forward and he’s battering Santisima all over the ring. Santisima is trying to hold on for dear life and fight back but Navarrete won’t stop punching until Santisima ties him up. Clear round for Navarrete as Santisima barely survives. Navarrete 10-9.

Round 6: Navarrete’s conrner is confident he’s going to stop Santisima now. Navarrete comes out comfortably and steps forward as he recovers from that whole round of punching in the last. Santisima misses on a jab. Jab lands for Navarrete. Right hook lands to the body for Santisima. Hard right hand lands upstairs for Navarrete Now two more punches land upstairs for Navarrete Both fighters trade and Navarrete gets in a hook to the head. Three punches come from Santisima. Navarrete took this round off and I think Santisima outworked him. Santisima 10-9, 55-59.

Round 7: Right hand from Santisima doesn’t land clean. Navarrete pops a jab upstairs. Jab comes from Navarrete again as he measures for his follow up combinations. Combination comes from Navarrete as Santisima has to retreat. Right hand lead lands for Navarrete. More punches come from Navarrete and most make at least partial contact on Santisima. Navarrete comes forward behind a couple more punches but they don’t land well. Clean left hook lands for Navarrete. Navarrete 10-9.

Round 8: Jab comes from Navarrete who then tries to sneak in an uppercut. Three punches come from Santisima but they don’t land. Navarrete comes forward behind more punches that strafe Santisima. Santisima gets clipped again but gets back to center ring. Two body shots come from Santisima but he has to retreat as Navarrete comes forward with more punches. Right hand lead lands for Navarrete and he shakes it as he might’ve hurt it a little. Navarrete comes and throws a barrage of punches just after so he must not have been hurt too badly. Navarrete 10-9, 79-73.

Round 9: Navarrete sticks a jab that doesn’t land clean. Navarrete tries another stiff jab but doesn’t quite land it. Santisima misses on two long punches. Jab lands for Navarrete this time. Two hooks to the body come from Santisima but they don’t make much of an impact as Navarrete holds his ground and presses him backwards. Four punches come from Navarrete and Santisima gets on his bike. Double left hook comes from Navarrete. Several more punches come from Navarrete as Santisima tries to defend himself. Navarrete 10-9.

Round 10: Santisima tries to come out quick but doesn’t land anything of significance. Jab misses from Santisima. Navarrete lands his jab and then tries a lead left uppercut. Jab from Navarrete doesn’t quite find the target. Navarrete falls off balance with a long left hand from the southpaw stance. Now Navarrete switches back and he starts lighting Santisima up. Left hook lands upstairs for Navarrete. Santisima grabs hold of Navarrete now. Navarrete 10-9, 99-91.

Round 11: Left hook comes from Navarrete to start the round. now Navarrete tries to po a jab and then comes forward behind a combination. Left and right lands to the body for Santisima. Santisima tries to line up a home run right hand to the head that misses. Left lands for Navarrete, then a body shot. Santisima is badly hurt and getting strafed again by Navarrete, both hands! More punches come from Santisima who tries to hold again but can’t keep Navarrete from working. Right hook lands for Navarrete and the referee has now seen enough and steps in. Navarrete TKO-11.

Sebastian Fundora vs Daniel Lewis

Round 1: Fundora tries to line up a straight left hand right away and makes partial contact. Lewis is gets on the inside and touches Fundora with a body shot. Right uppercut makes contact for Fundora. Lewis ducks in again and throws a short combination with Fundora momentarily on the ropes. Hard straight left lands for Fondura at center ring. Fundora misses on the next coupld of left hnads from range as Lewis covers up behind a tight guard. Lewis gets low and on the inside but ends uo getting in a clinch with Fundora. Fundora throws a nice uppercut again as Lewis comes forward with his hands up. Lewis sways from side to side as he tries to close the distance. Short left hand lands on the inside for Lewis. Straight left hand from Fundora hits Lewis’ guard. Fundora 10-9.

Round 2: Straight left hand partially lands for Fundora. Lewis charges in and gets in a right hand to the body. Fundora lands another straight left pretty well through Lewis’ guard. Lewis wrestles with Fundora on the inside before landing two right hands upstairs. Short left and right make contact for Fundora. Clean uppercut lands for Fundora and now Lewis has a black eye on the right side of his face. Straight right lands for Lewis. Hard shots land for Lewis and now Fundora’s face is bleeding profusely! Left lands upstairs for Lewis who is smelling and seeing blood. Lewis 10-9, 19-19.

Round 3: Straight left from Fundora doesn’t find the mark. Lewis gets right back on the inside and tries to make it a brawl. Short left uppercut lands on the inside for Lewis, then he trades body shots with Fundora. Clean right hook lands to the body for Fundora. Fundora misses on a hook and Lewis comes forward behind his bobbing head movement. Left lands to the body for Lewis. Right hand lands to the body for Lewis. Fundora throws a few long shots that don’t land clean. Lewis comes forward behind a atraight right to the body that scores. Left lands down to the body for Lewis. Fundora tries an uppercut on the inside. Three punches come from Fundora and he clips Lewis with the third. Two land to the body for Lewis. Straight shot lands for Fundora and Lews is bleeding from the eye. Fundora 10-9.

Round 4: Fundora misses on a straight left hand. Two shots come from Fundora as Lewis covers up. Lewis lands a short right hand. Now Lewis misses on a body shot. Straight left hand lands for Fundora. Fundora jabs at center ring and then lets go on two power shots, then two more as Lewis covers up. Straight tight to the body falls short for Lewis. Straight left lands for Fundora. Both fighters trade at center ring. Check hook partially lands for Fundora. Straight right makes some contact or Lewis this time. Fundora 10-9, 39-37.

Round 5: Fundora jabs to keep range as he takes a few steps backwards. Two shots from Fundora don’t land clean. Lewis misses on a right hook upstairs. Short right hand scores for Lewis. Left lands to the body for Lewis this time. Lewis goes right back down to the body with his left hand and then tries to bring it back up top with his right. Referee calls a timeout as Lewis lost his mouthpiece. Right hook lands on the inside for Fundora but Fundora fires back. Straight left hand lands for Fundora upstairs. Hard left lands for Lewis on the inside. I’ll slightly edge it to Lewis here for early work. Lewis 10-9.

Round 6: Lewis comes out aggressively and lands a right hand upstairs. Fundora misses on a straight left hand. Double right hand comes from Lewis. Short right hand lands on the inside for Lewis. Fundora misses on a couple of lengthy jabs. Lewis gets back on the inside and trades shots with Fundora Right hand left hand lands to the body for Lewis. Right hand lands to the body for Lewis again. Double right hand scores upstairs for Lewis again. Lewis 10-9.

Round 7: Left lands a short right to the body. Left lands upstairs for Lewis but Fundora gets in a good shot in return. Right hand glances off Fundora’s head. Fundora tries to meet Lewis with an uppercut but doesn’t quite land it clean. Right hand lands down to the body for Lewis, who tries to Maul Fundoa along the ropes. Left and right lands to the body for Lewis. Left lands for Lewis again. Fundora doesn’t get leverage on a left hok but throws a right to follow it up. I still slightly favor Lewis’ work in this round. Lewis 10-9.

Round 8: Jab from Fundora makes partial contact. Now Fundora lands a clean jab upstairs. Lewis gets on the inside and throws two hooks to the body. Left lands fot Lewis on the inside. Fundora pokes with a Jab. Straight right lands to the body for Lewis. Right hok lands on the inside for Fundora this time. Right hook lands again for Fundora. Straight left from Fundora doesn’t land clean. Fundora tries two left hands on the inside. Both fighters trade shots on the inside. Fundora measures with a jab and partially lands a straight left hand. Fundora 10-9, 76-76.

Round 9: Fundora partially lands a straight left hand. Counter left hook lands for Lewis. Right hook misses for Fundora as Lewis ducks under. Uppercut comes from Fundora as Lewis comes forward. Right hook lands to the body for Fundora this time. Jab lands for Lewis and Fundora’s nose is bleeding again. Jab lands clean for Fundora. More jabs come from Fundora as he keeps Lewis at arms reach. Fundora 10-9.

Round 10: Fundora pops a jab and then gets in a short uppercut on the inside. More jabs come from Fundora as he tries to stall the action and control the rest of this fight with his range. Short left hook gets in for Lewis. Lewis comes forward and blocks two shots but can’t land anything of his own. Straight right lands for Lewis. Clean left lands for Fundora right down the pipe. Lewis can’t get much of anything done here and Fundora is basically winding out the clock. Right hook lands for Fundora. Fundora 10-9, 96-94.


Tonight at 9 pm ET on ESPN+ and FOX Sports pay-per-view, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury headline a four-fight card from Las Vegas.

Prelim coverage will start at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN2 and FS1 before switching over to the pay-per-view. Wil Esco will be on the round-by-round call for us starting at 9 pm ET, with all four PPV bouts covered.

Wilder, 34, and Fury, 31, fought to a controversial draw in Dec. 2018 in their first meeting, and are looking to settle the score tonight. They both weighed in much heavier than last time, which could mean nothing or everything.

On the undercard, we’ll see Charles Martin and Gerald Washington meet in an IBF heavyweight eliminator; WBO junior featherweight titleholder Emanuel Navarrete will defend against Jeo Santisima; and junior middleweight prospects Sebastian Fundora and Daniel Lewis will square off.
