Sorry your schedule’s getting all screwed up today, Scott.

This Friday’s ShoBox tripleheader has received a late-notice substitution. With super lightweight prospect Malik Hawkins out of commission, Sanjarbek Rakhmanov has stepped in to rematch Keith Hunter in the Las Vegas main event.

Richardson Hitchens vs. Nick DeLoma and Kevin Newman II vs. Genc Pllana remain intact.

Rakhmanov (12-2-1, 6 KO), a 30-year-old Uzbek fighting under the Money Team banner, dropped a split decision to Hunter (11-0, 7 KO) on Showtime last April, surviving a second-round knockdown but failing to get enough done during his late surge. He’s since stopped Andre Byrd in a fight that snapped Rakhmanov’s six-fight run of competing at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, where he faces Hunter this Saturday.

You can watch the first fight here.

Sucks to see an A-side go down, but at least it’s one from the Friday card and not the Saturday one.
