Notes: TJ Doheny, a former titleholder and No. 5 last week, is out after a stunner loss in Dubai on Friday. Doheny was flat in the fight and just plain lost it, and now he’s got a big task trying to come back from that, either at 122 or 126; he was fighting at 126, but his goal was still another title fight at 122, he was just staying busy. Or so he thought, anyway. Ronny Rios is in at No. 10 to take the open spot. The 30-year-old Rios is a former prospect who looked like he had flamed out, but he’s been fighting very well lately, including a terrific win last July over Diego De La Hoya. This could be temporary, of course, with Luis Nery moving up from 118 on Mar. 28. But Rios should get his crack to stick soon enough, anyway, as he’s been ordered to face Brandon Figueroa.

Upcoming Fights: (9) Azat Hovhannisyan vs Jose Sanmartin, Mar. 28 ... (8) Brandon Figueroa vs (10) Ronny Rios, TBA

Upcoming Fights: (9) Cristofer Rosales vs Szilveszter Kanalas, Mar. 13 ... (10) Muhammad Waseem vs TBA, Mar. 28 ... (5) Charlie Edwards vs Keyvin Lara [bantamweight], Apr. 18 ... (1) Kosei Tanaka vs Kazuto Ioka [junior bantamweight], TBA
