As of now, Artur Beterbiev is still set to fight mandatory challenger Meng Fanlong on March 28th. We just don’t know where anymore.

RDS reports that the bout will no longer take place in Quebec City due to the provincial government banning gatherings of more than 250 people. Yvon Michel claims that the fight could now take place stateside behind closed doors.

Three different cards in Montreal, Quebec were recently canceled for similar reasons.

While deciding on a location after winning the promotional rights, Top Rank floated the possibility of holding it in Moscow, but that seems like a lot to manage on two weeks’ notice. Plus, committing to a closed-door event kind of eliminates the need to drum up a local audience. Either way. here’s hoping things work out; Beterbiev’s had more than enough inactivity in his career already.

In addition the main event, the card also features the latest from Janibek Alimkhanuly and Oscar Rivas.
